Cops Don't Care 7"

Cops Don't Care
The cops are here and they don't care
They told me to tell you to do anything that you want to
The line at the Dairy Queen on the first day of spring
Why doesn't it feel good?
Your cigarettes don't understand you
So what dead kid will we hang out with now?
And whose severed hand is always scratching at your window?
It's finally done
We're gonna just let the whole thing flood
There's nowhere to go now
And now he wants to get to know you
Get out.

Heat Isn't The Word
I wanna walk down to where the street ends
To where there's nothing
No friends
And bury inside the deepness of a dead heart
I'm gonna walk out
You see me covered
But heat isn't the word.

New Song

Wash out all the regular faces from the aperature
Everyone smiles at the beautiful
With nothing to say
Long lights burn the afternoon
The past runs through the living room
And in a while time will talk to you
Or get in your way
Too cold for an early death
Zen kids in the accident
All of the flowers that the families left
Grew in their place
And if they fall
Cover them all with a blanket of love
So sick of the things I want
A scarecrow terrified by a distant caw
Morning is mocking night club parking lots in the new light of day
Raw lights burn the room to dust
Time passes notes illedgibley written and nebulous
And in a while time will talk to us
With nothing to say.
